Kory's Eagle Project

"For my Eagle Scout Project, I worked in conjunction with the Sacramento Tree Foundation and the Sacramento Unified School District to plant trees at West Campus High School.  Upon review of the site with the school's Vice Principal, we decided that the area behind the softball diamond would be best because trees there would provide shade for kids during lunch, as well as softball fans.  After completing all of the appropriate paper work, a group of volunteer scouts and I dug holes and planted trees on December 15, 2007.  In total, we planted six little leaf lindens near the softball diamond.  After completion of the project, I have returned to check up on and realign the trees."
